Ancient snake image that I use in my book. The character Orc captures the deadly snake that is driven out in the Winter cold to satisfy its desire to kill humans. When confronted by a superior being, it becomes confused and starts to eat its tail. Orc leaves before it finishes devouring itself. He wonders if it will disappear completely, and, if so, what might reemerge in its place. He is right to fear what lurks in the other dimension.
