Strong Like My Ancestors

My ancestry is a collection of desperate, raucous and rebellious people:  Scotch Irish; plain old Irish from County Cork; German and Swiss heritage.  I totally believe this explains my love of mountains and wild places.  These ancestors came to America for the chance of a better life.  Hard, tough and resilient, their DNA runs through me still.  They survived wilderness, war, incredible poverty and hard physical labor.   Appalachia, Missouri, Arkansas, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, and then California during the dustbowl.  That is the Scotch Irish side.  The Irish built the railroad across the plains and the Germans  domesticated the earth.  The majority farmed Nebraska up until recently.  I feel all their strength.

For my age (58), I am pretty active.  Biking, hiking, trail running are my favorite activities.  Less so,  running on pavement, push ups and pull ups.   Important nonetheless but not nearly as much fun.

To keep doing the things I love for the long term, it is important that I feed my body the best supplements and products.  I still plan to thru hike the PCT and CDT.   That means I need to keep lean and mean.  Finding the right stuff to power my goals is really important.  I have tried lots of products over the years and finally settled on Isagenix.  It seems to work for me.  I have added muscle and endurance that  always escaped me previously.  I am happy to share these excellent products with you.
